Hi, I’m Paula
(The friendly face behind Ozurie Coaching)
Thank you for landing here to meet me. My background is not traditional, and my journey most certainly not linear. I was born in Germany, educated in England at an all-girls boarding school, and lived in several countries before coming to the U.S. to attend university.
My earliest programming taught me hyper-independence, masking to fit in, and an uneasy sense of self. I spent years doing deep internal work with skilled professionals—peeling back layers, rewriting my story, and redefining who I am.
My first career was in the financial sector, which I enjoyed for 15 years until I decided to return to university and get a second (and third) degree in nutrition. I started my second career as a Registered Dietitian* and have been working in various capacities in healthcare for the past 15 years. I have married, raised children, and divorced. I was a caretaker to my mother for 24 years before she died in 2021. I’m an empty nester and have reinvented myself more than once.
Like you, I’m on a lifelong journey of self-discovery. As women, we navigate countless roles—daughter, friend, wife, mother, entrepreneur, divorcée, caretaker, empty nester, adventurer—the list is endless. And that is our superpower: the ability to transition, reinvent, and grow through the many phases of life.
Coaching changed everything for me. Working with a coach myself gave me the freedom to explore, a thought partner to challenge my limiting beliefs, and a safe space to dream bigger and take action. Inspired by this, I became a coach myself.
I’m sharing all this with you because I bet you and I have more in common than not, regardless of our origin stories. And I believe what makes me different from other coaches is that I want to get in the trenches with you.
* I’m a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutrition, and a Licensed Nutritionist in the State of Montana. Coaching services are not inclusive of medical nutrition therapy services.
Now, let’s build your story.
If you’re asking, “Who am I now?”, “Who do I want to become?”, or “How do I move through this?”— let’s work together. I’ll help you slow down, listen for your voice beneath the noise, and turn your thoughts into actionable next steps.
I’ll be your thought partner, your guide to curiosity and exploration.
I’ll help you play with new ideas and map out paths you haven’t yet considered.
I’ll hold you accountable to the commitments you choose and you make to yourself.
As an International Coaching Federation Certified Professional Coach and Level One Certified Metaphor Coach, I bring depth, creativity, and intentionality to our work together. If you’re working with a therapist, coaching can make your therapy actionable—bringing insights into motion.
I’m doing my own work every day. It would be my privilege to walk with you while you do yours.
